Product Overview
This Water Resistant Speaker assembly is used in the GE's Dash 4000 and Dash 2500 Patient Monitoring systems. The speaker is connected to the built-in tone generator with Digital to Analog converter and a mixer that generates the dual frequency tones ranging from 150 to 2800 Hz. The audible notes translates the alarm notifications that helps the operator to be aware of patient status. The unitized construction speaker assembly comes with a light weight magnet with a 90 mm long wires terminated to a 2 position connector which aids in easy installation. The speaker can be mounted on the Dash Monitor casing using the provided four slotted mountings. This speaker has a high efficiency driver with low dynamic mass to provide excellent transient response, low harmonic distortion and high temperature stability. Use of water resistant diaphragm protects the speaker from minor liquid splashes and liquid ingressions that may happen during system cleaning. This 66 square mm speaker is designed to withstand hospital environments that ensures long working life. The speaker unit will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
